FANA has secured a limited number of rooms at a discounted rate of $259/night + tax (single/double) plus tax. The Urban Destination Fee (resort fee) has been waived over the dates of the conference. Please note that amenities typically included in the Urban Destination Fee will not be available unless attendees choose to opt in at check-in at their own expense. The optional $30 Destination Fee includes premium guest internet, a daily $30 food and beverage credit valid at hotel outlets (excluding room service), and a one-hour bike rental for two guests. This discounted rate is available until Tuesday, September 1, 2026, or until the block sells out. Reserve your room online. Be sure to ask for the FANA 2026 Annual Meeting discounted rate.
*ALERT* FANA does not use a third-party housing or travel service company. If you are contacted by anyone in regards to a hotel reservation, please note they are not endorsed by FANA. Despite their claims, they do not have access to our negotiated discounted rates. If you make a reservation with an outside company, FANA cannot guarantee your reservation is valid.

CE CREDITS
Please make sure to check in at registration to pick your badge and to allow FANA staff to check you in. Within a few days after the Annual Meeting, you will receive an email from FANA with the AANA required Program Evaluation and Learner Assessment survey.
Once the Program Evaluation and Learner Assessment is completed, you will receive a certificate of completion with the hours you reported during your completion of the assessment. FANA will report all credits to both AANA and CE Broker within 30 days after the Annual Meeting.
Again, to receive your credits, you must complete this survey that includes evaluations for each session you attended. The Program Evaluation and Learner Assessment will be emailed to you at the beginning of the week following the meeting’s conclusion. Once you complete the assessment, your certificate of attendance, including the credits awarded for the sessions that you reported you attended during the evaluation/assessment, will be emailed to you.
Please be sure to save all emails for your records.

FAQs
|
When and where will the conference be held?
The 2026 Annual Meeting will be held at the Hilton Tampa Downton, located 211 N Tampa St, Tampa, Florida, October 2-4, 2026. Please click here for directions.

What should I wear?
During the day, anything from business to resort casual dress is appropriate. Evening attire is at your discretion. Temperatures in meeting rooms can fluctuate. We recommend bringing a sweater or light jacket.
How much is parking?
Hotel overnight valet parking is $55 plus tax, per night. FANA attendees will receive a $7 off discount for each day their car is parked, reducing the cost to $48 plus tax, per night.The Hilton does NOT have onsite self-parking, however the hotel is attached to the City Center Building, and parking can be found in the City of Tampa Fort Brooke parking garage located in the attached City Center Building. Will there be Wi-Fi?
Guestroom wireless internet is included in the resort fee (if opted-in at hotel check-in). FANA has complimentary wireless internet in the meeting space.
Besides sessions, what events are happening?
On Friday evening, the FANA 2026 Annual Meeting will kick off with our Welcome Reception with Exhibitors. On Saturday evening, the Annual Resident College Bowl will take place. Bragging rights will be up for grabs. Immediately following the College Bowl, the PAC Party will conclude the evening. There will be food, drinks, and games! How do I confirm my hotel reservation?
In order to confirm your reservation, please CLICK HERE to book online. Please note, FANA Headquarters is unable to view your reservations. If you need to modify your reservation, please contact the hotel directly. If you make your reservation by phone, be sure to mention the FANA 2026 Annual Meeting for the discounted room rate.
When is the hotel cut-off date?
The cut-off date for hotel reservations is Tuesday, September 1, 2026. For more information on the FANA discounted rate and how to book, please view the Hotel Information section.
Is there a special RN registration rate?
For the Annual Meeting, there isn't a separate RN registration rate. If you are an RN and your membership with AANA/FANA is current, RNs can register at the member rates offered above to attend the 2026 Annual Meeting. To receive member pricing, you will need to log in first to the FANA website to activate member pricing.
Am I eligible to register at the student rate?
The student rate is for attendees who are currently enrolled as a RRNA in an accredited nurse anesthesiology education program at the time of registration.
What is the cancellation policy?
A refund less a $100 processing fee will be given for full or daily cancellation requests received in writing at FANA Headquarters by September 2, 2026. A refund less a $50 processing fee will be given through September 2, 2026, for a Resident or Retired/Emeritus registration. After September 2, 2026, or for no-shows at the meeting, NO refund will be given. Requests must be submitted by email to [email protected]. The processing fees are as follow:
- $100.00 for Full and Daily registrations
- $50.00 for Resident, Emeritus, and Veteran registrations
Does FANA report my credits?
FANA reports all credits to AANA and CE Broker within 30 days after the Annual Meeting. In order to receive credits, you must complete a survey with evaluations for each session, which FANA will email you the week following the Annual Meeting. Swamp Showdown: Annual Resident College Bowl
Venture deep into the Florida backwaters for one of FANA's most anticipated traditions! Join us on Saturday, October 3, at 6:15 p.m. as resident teams navigate a fast-paced, Jeopardy-style competition testing their anesthesia knowledge, clinical expertise, and quick thinking.
From airway challenges to pharmacology pitfalls, competitors will journey through the swamp in pursuit of victory while attendees enjoy an evening filled with learning, laughter, and friendly competition.
Best of all, attendees can earn CE credits while cheering on the competition and putting their own knowledge to the test.
